Any folded items should be unfolded. So please provide as many as possible in this fashion. The more your photos are able to be separated from each other, the easier and faster it will be for you to sift, sort, share, and organize your photos once they are digitized. Otherwise it will inhibit scanning and slow the digitizing process. Also, it uncovers the writing and information on the backs of the photos, which can be priceless information.
